Degree in Community Development from Penn State University Rogers rejoined the military as a Commission Officer, and was commissioned 2Lt in the US Army Medical Service Corps in 1974. He is a community advocate, a part-time substitute instructor at Huntingdon Career and Technology Center, a transport driver for disabled veterans, a member of the local Blue Print Community, Huntingdon County Comprehensive Plan Committee, Mt. Union VFW, and Mt. Union American Legion.
