Karen Anderson - Election Result: 28.11%

Party: Democrat

Office: PA House ( District: 86 )

After receiving my BS in Landscape Architecture from Penn State, Anderson served 2 years in the Peace Corps in Ecuador. After working in the Department of Housing and Urban Development in Manhattan, Anderson chose to return to Perry County. In her current life, she is the owner and manager of Meadow Mist Farm, raising grass-fed beef. Anderson has determined a way to make our farm entirely self-supporting. She has also worked with the Commissioners to achieve support for fair legislative districting, a twofold increase in funding for the Farmland Preservation Program, and, for the first time, public budget meetings for the preparation of the County’s 2018 Budget.
