My family moved to Perry County in 1975 after my father retired from the Army. After receiving my BS in Landscape Architecture from Penn State, I served 2 years in the Peace Corps in Ecuador; I am fluent in Spanish. After working in the Department of Housing and Urban Development in Manhattan, I chose to return to Perry County in 1988 with my husband to raise our family. My 2 children attended West Perry School District and went on to higher education. In my current life, I am the owner and manager of Meadow Mist Farm, raising grass fed beef.
