Deb Baughman was raised outside of Boston and relocated to Pennsylvania in 1985. She moved to the 78th district five years ago after retiring from her 25-year career as a teacher in the Cornwall- Lebanon School District. Regarding gun laws, what generally do you support from the choices below?
I don’t like any of the answers above. I believe we need strong enforcement of current laws. I support universal background checks on all purchases. The goal would be safety, not taking away responsible owners’ guns. I believe school safety needs to be paramount and protecting students is a top priority. Implementing changes based on input from school leaders and law enforcement should be enacted quickly and funding provided to assist in safety upgrades.
