Abortion

Voting Rights and Access

To keep our elections free and fair, Mastriano will appoint a Secretary of State who will secure our elections from fraud. He'll partner with the legislature to eliminate "no-excuse" mail-in voting, get rid of drop boxes, and pass universal voter ID.

Taxes/Economy

Mastriano believes the property tax on homeowners is an unfair burden and he'll immediately establish a Property Tax Elimination Taskforce to find a way to get this burden off of hardworking Pennsylvania homeowners. Mastriano will work with the legislatur

Climate Change/Environmental Policy

Mastriano has vocally criticized Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf’s decision to join RGGI and pledged to pull out of the initiative as governor — a concept he introduced in his energy independence bill. He argues RGGI “will do far more harm than good”

Immigration

Race and ethnic inequality

Regarding education, Mastriano said he would ban certain teachings related to race, ethnicity and gender, and would sign legislation to establish “Education Opportunity Accounts” and other bills that would expand school choice policies.
