Stacy Garrity is a native of Bradford county. She graduated from Sayre High School and then earned a degree in finance and economics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She also received a certificate from The Cornell University Business Management Institute. While serving in the U.S. Army Reserve, Garrity began a business career as a cost accountant for Global Tungsten & Powders Corp., a worldwide supplier of refractory powders. She became the first female vice presidents at Global. She also serves on the board of Bradford County United Way and is a trustee of Guthrie Hospital.
