Eric attended Lower Merion Public Schools graduating from Harriton High School. He received his J.D. with Honors from the George Washington Law School where he was a member of the Law Review and received his B.A. cum laude from Colgate University. Eric was Deputy General Counsel to Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge. Eric is a governing board member of the Early Head Start Program of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
